Takama Beni Ourain Rug Handknotted 6ft5in x 9ft5in Bohemian Home Street Wave

The Takama Beni Ourain Rug is a hand-knotted Moroccan Bohemian centerpiece designed for spaces that value artisan craft, texture, and a warm, grounding presence. From Street-Wave, this one-of-a-kind piece brings authentic Beni Ourain heritage into modern interiors.

• Size: 6'5" x 9'5" (200 cm x 292 cm)
• Origin & Construction: Hand-knotted by Moroccan Beni Ourain artisans in the Middle Atlas, delivering durability and a refined silhouette you can’t match with machine-made rugs
• Design & Palette: Ivory field with painterly teal, tan, and sunlit yellow accents; distinctive, non-uniform patterns celebrate handmade character
• Texture & Edges: Soft, durable wool with a plush, shag-like pile and a long fringe along the edges for a tactile finish
• Versatility & Scale: Large footprint ideal under a coffee table, in living rooms with neutral furnishings, or as a grounding focal point in open-plan spaces
• Authenticity: One-of-a-kind piece with natural variations that reflect traditional Moroccan craftsmanship

This rug anchors neutral seating, adds warmth to wood floors, and invites conversation with its rich texture and lively palette. Its dense pile provides a cushioned feel underfoot, making daily living more comfortable, while the edge fringe adds a subtle, tactile flourish. Regular gentle vacuuming with a low-suction attachment helps preserve the pile, and rotating the rug every 6–12 months promotes even wear and color distribution in high-traffic rooms. For spills, blot with a clean, dry cloth and consult a professional rug cleaner for stains. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to protect color richness, and use a rug pad to minimize friction and keep the rug flat on hard floors.
